The Highfield campus Post Room will now stay open all day from 8am – 5pm, Mon – Fri, until further notice.
Due to the various lunch breaks operated at the University it has been difficult to arrange an operational Post and Portering break which does not impact upon the whole site. For the last month the Post and Portering section has been trialling a different operating process which allows us to be more productive, and keep the Post Room and Goods Inward (Hartley Store) complex open all day.
We are now satisfied that this new system works well enough to offer the benefit to the whole University.
