The Hartley Library entrance has now closed for the summer in preparation for the building work which will increase the seating capacity by 78 seats.
Visitors to the library will need to enter via a side entrance situated to the right of the main entrance.
Normal Reception services are available from this temporary entrance and the building works are about to start and hoardings will go up in the entrance hall.
Loans services have moved and are being offered at the enquiry point on Level 3 during the summer.
