Last year the welcome project launched a new welcome website for our students called Are You Ready? The idea was for students to have one clear place to go to undertake the key tasks they needed to complete before they arrived with us, such as enrolling, paying their fees and ordering their ID cards. This site was a huge success and so we have enhanced and improved it for our 2013 intake.
With Are You Ready? very much focused at our undergraduate students in terms of content and style, this year we have also created another site specifically for postgraduates called “Postgraduate Welcome”. The purpose of the site is the same – one place for students to go for their pre-arrival tasks and information – but the branding and content has been tailored to be more suitable for a postgraduate audience. We will keep the content on this site up to date all year round so that postgraduates who start outside of the traditional welcome period still have somewhere to go for pre-arrival information.
Both sites are due to be launched to our students on 15 August, so there are still a few sections that need tweaking, but we wanted to give you all a first glance of what we’ve been working on!
