New LGBT Research Community website

We would like to introduce you to the new LGBT Research Community website at the University: http://lgbtresearchcommunity.soton.ac.uk.

It has been constructed efficiently by Laurence Georgin from the LLAS Centre in Modern Languages (Humanities). The purpose of the website is to help stimulate and coordinate research on any aspect of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Studies across the university, promoting Southampton’s commitment to diversity and equality. A number of research projects in the humanities are, as you will see, already advertised and we look forward to hearing more from the social sciences and sciences. We are also keen to advertise undergraduate and postgraduate study in this burgeoning area, as well as to be a focal point for impact and public engagement outside the university in the wider community (lectures, workshops, outreach etc).

To receive regular updates, you can subscribe to our blog by entering your email address on the front page of the site.  You can also send details of research projects to Laurence at [email protected].

We look forward to hearing from you!
