A training and development network called SKILLS (Sharing Knowledge to Inspire, Learn, Lead and Succeed) has been formed and managed by SAA colleagues to provide bite-size training courses for the SAA work stream. The training is available to all colleagues at all levels.
From October, there will be an opportunity for you to attend bite-size, one-hour training courses, in a range of topics including; time management, communications, Microsoft packages, Emotional Intelligence, and many more. The sessions will take place once a month for one-hour and will be run by internal and external facilitators and colleagues. You will have access to:
• Training sessions once a month, for one hour, customised for the SAA work stream
• A dedicated social network page – to allow you to provide feedback, see what sessions are coming up and chat to other SAA colleagues about the training
• A training folder – for you to store your training documents in, including a certificate of attendance as a record of the training you have completed
• Access to a monthly ‘Top Ten Tips’ podcast about each topic
