In anticipation of this year’s academic and research staff promotions review, we would like to raise awareness of the process and encourage applications from across the academic and research staff groups. With this aim in mind, an open session is being offered to those who would like to know more about the current process. As our monitoring data show that women have been less likely than men to make applications for promotion, we would particularly encourage women to attend, however the session is open to all people who might be considering promotion this year.
The session will be held on Wednesday 16 October from 3.00pm to 5.00pm in Building 37, Senate room. Professor Adam Wheeler and Professor Mark Spearing will present the session and answer any questions you may have.
