We are pleased to announce that Ciaran Devane, Chief Executive of Macmillan Cancer Support, will be visiting the University as part of our Distinguished Lecture series.
Ciaran will be delivering his lecture on 17 October at 18:30 on Highfield Campus.
The topic of the talk will be ‘Changing cancer, influencing health through science and management’ and will centre on the changing picture of cancer, the changing NHS and how, drawing on his personal experience and work as a management consultant, in leading the Charity Macmillan Cancer Support, Ciaran is working to effect significant change in thinking about the future support needs of people with cancer.
Venue has now been confirmed as Highfield campus, building 35/1001.
