The UCU, Unite and Unison trade unions have called for a one day strike by their members working in higher education. They have set a date of Thursday 31 October. The University will remain open, although there may be disruptions to some services and teaching.
The University’s Business Continuity and Planning Group is assessing the situation to ensure that everything is being done to minimise disruption to students, staff and visitors. At this stage there is insufficient information about who is going to be striking to provide you with a detailed view of the potential impact.
