Test your metal – boot camp circuits

boot camp circuitsBoot Camp circuits is an outdoor fitness class that will improve cardiovascular fitness, strength, speed and agility. It involves not only working individually, but also in pairs and teams, through workouts that involve a range of functional movements. The workouts use a mixture of bodyweight movements, such as push ups, sit-ups, and burpees, and also kettlebell exercises, sprints and interval training.

Sessions are on Wednesday, from 12:00-13:00, meeting in the Jubilee Sports Centre (Sport & Wellbeing membership is required, pre-booking essential). The class will take place on the common, and so involves a short run to and from there at the start and end. As this class does take place in all weathers – as long as it is deemed safe by the instructor, the class goes ahead!

Be prepared to get fit, work hard, have fun and maybe get wet and mucky in the process!!
