Help choose the University’s entry into the All England Drama Festival!

Triple ActBook now for Triple Act: join your very own Southampton University Players (sup), to celebrate their 50th birthday, in the intimate cabaret setting of the Nuffield Bar for three sparkling one-act plays.

Semblance of Madness, a powerful drama set in a women’s psychiatric hospital, alongside Pub Quiz, a comic battle of the sexes by an award-winning local playwright, and coarse acting in the hilarious parody Pride at Southanger Park, based on “a long-lost” Jane Austen novel. SUP is your local am-dram group, comprising current staff, former staff and students as well as people from the wider community.

Following SUP’s success in this year’s festival and to celebrate our 50th anniversary, please come and enjoy this great three-in-one theatrical evening and vote for the one-act play you’d like to see go forward as the University’s entry into the 2014 All England Drama Festival. One audience member will win a voucher for two tickets to both our 2014, 50th anniversary productions, Anne Frank (Feb 2014) and The Great Gatsby (June 2014). Hope to see you there!

Triple Act has three performances only: Saturday 30 November at 3.30pm and 7.30pm, and Sunday 1 December at 7.00pm.

Staff and student tickets are £10, (£12 full price ticket) – please call the Box Office on 023 8067 1771, or book online at www.nuffieldtheatre.co.uk
