Have you used the toilet today? Well, for 2.6 billion people around the world, that is not an option which is why the SanEco project was established. The SanEco team from Enactus Southampton was formed with the aim of addressing the issues of sanitation in developing countries.
Tuesday 19 November marks the official World Toilet Day and the SanEco team are fundraising on campus, sharing their concern that more than 40 per cent of the world population are lacking access to sanitation facilities and that every 20 seconds, a child dies as a result.
