According to the Daily Mail, a recent investigation by Price Waterhouse Cooper into the quality of life, found that Southampton was one of the top two places to live in England.
The report showed that provincial cities, such as Southampton score better against measures of population health, jobs, affordable housing, great income equality and work life balance.
The other top city in England was Reading.
