Following UEG discussion on developing a more structured method by which to engage senior individuals to work alongside the Pro Vice-Chancellors, and further discussion at Senate, Council has recently approved the establishment of the role of Assistant Pro Vice-Chancellor at Southampton.
In light of this development, Professor Alex Neill is now seeking expressions of interest from within the University community for the role of Assistant Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education).
Reporting to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education), the role-holder will support the PVC in developing and delivering the University’s strategic objectives in education.
Candidates should have sufficient management and leadership experience to be able to contribute effectively as a member of the senior management team, and a good knowledge of the University’s Strategy.
