This Friday we will be turning on the Christmas Lights in the Redbrick Square, in front of Building 40, Highfield Campus, the festivities start from 4pm.
Schedule:
From 4pm visit the Christmas market to stock up on your Christmas presents and soak up the atmosphere as the music begins.
At 6pm the lights are switched on, followed by live music from ‘The Tin Cats’ until 7pm.
The market will remain open until 8pm following this, The Bridge (Tom Crouch) and The Stags (The Tin Cats) will have a selection of live music to keep you entertained until late.
Complimentary drink:
If you have pre-registered for a complimentary drink, don’t forget to print off your ticket, or have the QR code available to view on your phone so that you can exchange it from 4pm today at one of the drink outlets (The Bridge, The Stags or the Outside Bar in the Redbrick Square).
Please note the complimentary drink is limited to one drink per person, tickets will be scanned in exchange for each drink. You may also be asked to show your University ID so please bring this along.
Things to know / Don’t forget:
- The stage will be situated on the grass area in-front of Building 40 so we recommend you wear appropriate footwear, there is also a promise of snow so make sure you wrap up warmly
- Staff and Students will need their ticket and staff ID to claim their free drink, this is limited to one per person
- Drinks are available at either The Bridge, The Stags or the Outdoor Bar in the Redbrick Square
- For further drinks The Arlott will be open until 8pm and will operate a cash bar
- The Piazza will be open until 7pm for food and there will also be a selection of festive food stalls within the Christmas Market
