Mathematical Sciences, the Southampton University Mathematics Society (SUMS) and the Southampton University Actuarial Society (SUAS) are welcoming back Alumni who graduated in Mathematics and related disciplines on 4 December to take part in a panel discussion and Q & A session about employability and careers.
All students are very welcome to attend and use this opportunity to ask questions about applying for graduate positions and making oneself more employable. There will also be an opportunity to network with the panellists following the discussion.
Panellists will include alumni from a variety of professions including actuaries, teachers and those working in banking and global companies. There will also be a current student with relevant internship experience who will be able to share tips for getting onto placements and making the most of them.
