FedEx will be replacing UPS as one of the University Post Room’s main couriers.
After a trial period when random shipments were sent to varying destinations using FedEx, the Post Room is now satisfied that the service offered by FedEx is something we are confident with.
We have compared the cost for both provider and should expect to experience saving by using FedEx as our primary courier. There is potential for at least a 20 per cent saving on UK & international shipments by using FedEx.
We still have DHL for destinations which FedEx do not visit but we would advise using FedEx to experience cost savings.
We are using FedEx as of now and will be fully reliant on them (along with DHL) from 9 December 2013.
