Why stop learning? Lunchtime, evening and weekend courses for all.
Lifelong Learning at the University has recently expanded its activities and subject areas to build on our aim of providing positive and engaging learning activities and experiences for the wider community.
We offer a range of weekly evening courses, study days and lunchtime classes in Modern Languages, Archaeology, English, Film, History, Jewish Studies, Music and Philosophy. Our courses are for everyone, and the people on our programme are from a wide variety of backgrounds looking to learn and be inspired by their chosen subjects, meet new people or improve their job prospects.
Some people even go on to take degrees at the University, but many take our courses purely because they are interested in the subject and want to discuss new ideas. Come along to our Open Evening to find out more about the wide variety of courses and events on offer and meet our friendly and supportive staff and lecturers. This is particularly important for any prospective Modern Languages students, as your tutor will be able to assess your language stage in this time thus enabling you to join the correct course for your ability, but we will be pleased to answer questions from our program.
