Professor Dame Wendy Hall is amongst the finalists for UK’s Most Inspiring Leader as part of the Guardian University Awards – and your vote can help her to achieve this honour.
Sponsored by the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education, the award recognises and showcases inspirational leadership in UK higher education.
Dame Wendy is one of seven individuals nominated by the Guardian University Awards judges for this category. The judges have described her as “a born leader and role model”. In addition, they recognise her pioneering research in multimedia and hypermedia and her role as a public and passionate advocate for encouraging more women into science, engineering and technology, whilst ensuring that we all contribute to, and benefit from, technological advances.
Just last week, Dame Wendy joined Professor Sir Nigel Shadbolt and Professor AbuBakr Bahaj on a list of the 100 leading UK practising scientists released by the Science Council.
