Some areas surrounding the WSA Campus remain flooded but have not significantly deteriorated over the weekend. In order to maintain the safety of staff and students the West Side* buildings of WSA will remain closed on Monday. The WSA East Side buildings will remain open and operational.
If conditions suddenly worsen overnight and a decision is made to close the whole site at the beginning of Monday this will be posted on Sussed by 7am.
STUDENTS
The West Side* building will remain closed on Monday 10 February.
The following alternative arrangements for teaching have been emailed to you:
Monday: Lectures and Seminars which were booked in Seminar room 3 and Lecture Theatre A have been rescheduled in alternative rooms on the Winchester campus and the Winchester Guildhall booked 0900-1900.
Tuesday: Lectures and Seminars which were booked in Seminar room 3 and Lecture Theatre A have been rescheduled in alternative rooms on the Winchester campus and the Winchester Guildhall booked 0900-1700.
It has not been possible, at present, to make alternative arrangements for teaching in Studios and Mac Suite 2. Please check your emails for updates.
If it is not essential for you to enter campus, please stay away. If you are on campus, please be extremely careful as you walk between buildings, the flood water hides uneven surfaces.
Halls of Residence – there are no flood warnings for the Erasmus Park and they are operating as normal.
STAFF
The West Side building will remain closed on Monday 10 February. WSA staff will be notified directly of alternative arrangements and in some cases may be asked to work at alternative sites.
If you are on campus, please be extremely careful as you walk between buildings, the flood water hides uneven surfaces.
