Following feedback from 2013 that there were long queues for international check-in and that ID card distribution did not go as smoothly as it could have, the Welcome project has considered a review of the current registration processes a priority for 2014. Over the last few months we have consulted with staff from across the University, and we are now pleased that we are able to report to you our proposed plan for registration for 2014 and beyond.
Our aim is to deliver a central University registration event which is scalable, meets the needs of increasing student numbers both at pre-sessional and main degree arrival periods and which enhances the student experience. Such an aim requires support and input from many areas of the University and we would therefore like to invite you to an open meeting led by Tessa Harrison, who will present our vision for the future. This is an ideal opportunity to find out more about the changes to the current processes and ask any questions you may have.
Date and time: Monday 17 March, 14:30-15:30
Location: Senate Room, Building 37/4049
