Less than a week until Southampton Swap Shop

On the 20 March Southampton Swap Shop is back! Bring in your old unwanted clothes and swap them for some entirely new free items that can brighten up your wardrobe.

 Who is it for?

This event is for all staff and students. Nearly 300 people are enjoying new clothes and cleared wardrobes as a result of the last two swap shops. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to clear your wardrobe and get some (new to you) free clothes and accessories

It’s not just for women – we get donations of clothes, shoes and accessories for men, women, children, as well as having a section to meet all your fancy dress needs.

How does it work?

1. Drop off your unwanted (clean and in an acceptable condition) items between 08.30 and 11.00 at the Cube, SUSU (Building 42). You’ll be given a token for each donated item (up to a maximum of 10).

2. Return between 12:00-15:00 to exchange your tokens for your new favourite clothes

3. If you don’t have anything to donate, come along from 12.30 and you can buy items for the bargain prices of £1.00 for clothes/shoes items and just 50p for any accessories. Our prices won’t be beaten anywhere else on the High Street!

Any money raised will be donated to RAG and leftover items from the event will be donated to the British Heart Foundation.

Fancy helping out?

Volunteer to help on the day and you’ll get first dibs on the clothes and receive graduate passport points.  Sign up here:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1_hCxPxRvxBnqEPELkWnZqldVK3Wxy6ZOuXtdB4KlRiI/viewform

So raid out your wardrobes, dust down those old shoes and come along to what is expected to be one of the biggest events on campus this year. You never know, you may find some real bargains!
