From 10-12 April, Nuffield Youth Theatre will be performing The Laramie Project Cycle, two documentary plays investigating the violent murder of Matthew Shepard, a young gay student at the University of Wyoming, in 1998. This is the first time that the two plays have been performed as a double bill in repertory in the UK.
The cycle comprises two parts:
The Laramie Project – Thursday 10 April, 7.30pm; Saturday 12 April, 2.00pm
The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later– Friday 11 April, 7.30pm; Saturday 12 April, 7.30pm
There will be a series of post-show discussions and events around the shows, which are free for audience members, including a talk by University of Southampton Professor, Graham Baxendale.
