The Staff Survey is your opportunity to give feedback on the University and your working life, in complete confidence.
It will be open from 3-23 June and will take only 15 minutes to complete.
The survey approach has been developed in several ways since the 2012 survey was conducted:
– More safeguards have been put in place to protect your anonymity.
– One of our own Ethics Committees has approved the survey this time, after a series of their recommendations were implemented.
– The reporting will be more granular than before, to academic unit and professional service level. This will provide a more nuanced picture of your views and will highlight where action is most needed.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Don Nutbeam comments: “The 2012 Staff Survey provided an important starting point for understanding what matters to you about your University, and we continue to address many of the leading issues raised by you in this survey.
“The 2014 survey will provide an up to date picture of priorities and what needs to be done to address them by the University leadership. High participation from our staff community is crucial and will give us the strongest possible indication of where action is needed most.”
To find out more, read the survey Q&A (which will be updated regularly over the coming weeks) or speak with your local HR Manager. Some academic units, faculties and services also have survey champions who can offer support and information in your area of the University.
