SanEco, a project of the highly successful Enactus Southampton team, scooped best Social Enterprise at the 2014 SETsquared Student Enterprise Awards at the University of Exeter.
A highly competitive category, SanEco beat competition from social enterprises that included a stationery company addressing global education inequality and the University of Bath’s own Enactus team.
SanEco Project Leader Tiqa Adinin said “It was a great honour to have received the award for SanEco despite the inspirational competition from other universities. It goes to show how much the SanEco team have dedicated with the help of the university and advisors we’ve had since the project started. With big plans ahead, we cannot wait to see where the project will go in the years to come”
The SETsquared Partnership is the enterprise collaboration between the universities of Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Southampton and Surrey and work together to develop the next generation of entrepreneurs. We will be hosting these prestigious awards in June 2015 and the Student Enterprise team at Career Destinations will be supporting further success from our innovative and enterprising students.
