As part of the University’s Infrastructure Investment Programme, iSolutions are replacing old network equipment in buildings across the University’s campuses and Halls of residence.
We are preparing to replace the network equipment in the following locations from Monday 23 June. For each location, you will not be able to access the network between 09:00 – 17:00 on that day:
23 June – Montefiore Blocks G – Q
24 June – Montefiore Blocks R – X, Wessex Lane Reception, Connaught Blocks A – C
27 June – Connaught Blocks D – S and the main hall
The work will involve removing old network equipment from the iSolutions network room in the buildings and replacing it with new equipment. Network connectivity will be disrupted in these buildings during the work.
Impact:
- You will lose your connection to the internet, the University network and VOIP telephone for up to 4 hours.
Notices will be posted around the building with further information.
