Ilika, the accelerated materials innovation company, is celebrating its 10 year anniversary this week.
Ten years ago, the company was founded as a spin-out from the School of Chemistry at the University. Since then Ilika has quickly established an international reputation for the rapid development of novel materials for energy and electronics applications and secured commercial partnerships with a portfolio of blue-chip companies including Asahi Kasei, Shell, Applied Materials and Toyota.
Today, Ilika’s advanced high throughput techniques enable functional materials to be made, characterised and tested up to 100 times faster than traditional techniques.
