An essential maintenance upgrade to Active Directory is required. Active Directory is key infrastructure software which authorises access to many IT services across the University such as email and Blackboard.
At present, we are undertaking a thorough programme of testing and are planning on carrying out the upgrade over the weekend of 26-27 July.
There will be a slight risk of IT service disruption from 08:00 on Saturday 26 July up to 08:00 on Monday 28 July.
We do not expect that there will be any actual service interruption.
