The Uni-link bus network continues to grow!
From 31 August 2014 the Uni-link U2 bus service will increase in frequency, with a bus every 10 minutes during University term times and every 30 minutes during University vacations. The service will also change route in the city centre, travelling via Commercial Road to serve Southampton Central station and the Mayflower Halls of Residence.
On the U2 route, the journey between the Highfield Campus and Central Station takes approximately 19 minutes, compared to a 23 minute journey on the U1. The U2 travels via the Boldrewood and Avenue Campuses.
