Sport & Wellbeing swimming instructors Michael Alchin and Kieron Carroll represented Great Britain in the 15th FINA Masters World Swimming Championships this summer.
A record breaking 6000 competitors from 97 countries travelled to Montreal, Canada to compete in this years event.
Of the 7 events swam between them, Michael finished in a top 30 ranking and Kieron a top 15, a huge improvement on their initial world rankings! Their next competition is a little closer to home; the British Masters National Championships held in Sheffield.
Both staff members are swimming instructors within the Jubilee Swimming Academy (JSA). All ages and abilities, from absolute beginners to elite swimmers preparing for competition are catered for. Visit the Sport & Wellbeing website to view the full range of swim teaching and coaching available.
