We know our staff and research postgraduates are extremely busy, so finding the time to get advanced training in everything that the Library has to offer can be difficult. Our Deskside Training service gives you the opportunity to have training where’s best for you – whether that’s in the Library, your own office or by remote connection, and at a time that suits.
Sessions can be as short as ten minutes or up to one hour long.We provide training and guidance in the following – all at a time and place convenient to you: alerting services, citation impact (H-index, alt metrics etc), Endnote, e-journals, managing your research data, writing data plans for grants, open access publishing for RCUK and post-2014 REF, searching specialist databases.
