The University of Southampton is proud to invite staff, students and our local community to join us for One Book, One Southampton.
One Book, One Southampton is a new initiative which aims to begin community-wide conversations centred on a carefully chosen, thought-provoking book. This year’s book is Empire by Jeremy Paxman, which we hope will spark debate, discussions and encourage engagement in events and talks about topics found in the book. We have a limited amount of free copies of the book which are available for Freshers in John Smith’s bookstore on campus. Hurry down to get your free copy, or join us in the SUSU square on 9 October where we will be giving them out. For all others, the library has stocked copies of the book or you can get it in all good book stores.
