We are delighted to announce the appointment of our interim Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Steve White joined the University this week as our Interim COO, on a one year contract, during which time he will act as a single head of Professional Services. He was a unanimous choice amongst all involved in the selection process which included a mix of senior academic staff and professional service leads.
Steve is an experienced business executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning both commercial and not-for-profit organisations. His most recent role was as Group Chief Executive of The Hyde Group, one of the country’s largest and most successful housing associations.
Prior to Hyde, Steve held senior roles at The Law Society, Financial Ombudsman Service, Solicitors Regulation Authority, National Westminster Bank and T-Mobile.
Steve is married with two adult children. In his spare time he is a keen open-water swimmer and has recently completed a Channel relay crossing.
