Women’s health event | 30 October

17:00 – 19:00, 30 October 2014 – Building 34, Room 4007, Highfield Campus

Theano would like to invite all women to attend this amazing session on how to lose weight and shape your body.

According to Dr. Chris Easton, a lecturer in clinical exercise psychology at the University of West Scotland, women and men respond to exercise in different ways. This is due to the fact that men tend to have more muscles mass than women and muscles have higher metabolic rate than fat.

Anne Small, who is a personal trainer, will run this session with the goal of helping our women of all ages, abilities and shapes to reach their fitness goals. To maximize your weight loss and rev up your metabolism the right exercise needs to be combined with the right meal plan.  Free dinner will be provided.

Book your free ticket through our Eventbrite page.

Theano is a University team dedicated to supporting Women in Science, Engineering and Technology; bringing peers together.
