Prepare for Success is a multimedia learning resource for international students coming to study in the UK, developed by Julie Watson and Andrew Davey from the eLanguages team in Modern Languages. It helps students explore aspects of academic culture in UK universities and colleges and discover what kind of academic skills they will need for effective study. The resource was funded by the UK Council for International Student Affair (UKCISA)
The site reached half a million views in July 2012 and one million visits on Tuesday 4 November 2014. International students based in 227 different countries have used the resources. It is also used by teachers with students pre-departure and many UK institutions post-arrival.
