Winchester School of Art’s BA Fine Art students have been involved in a large scale group project at the beginning of this term, inspired by ‘The Raft of the Medusa‘ painting by Théodore Géricault.
A variety of events took place that came to together at the end of the week through live performances, paintings, sound pieces and projections. A major part of this project was the creation of a raft that was approximately 20 meters by 5 meters in one of the fine art rooms.
The project was a way for the three years to interact in a group and develop ideas at the start of the new semester. It was a great project full of energy and enjoyed by all.
