Fancy a dose of extreme science this Christmas?
Then come along to our free public lecture by adventurer and science communicator Huw James on Tuesday 16 December, 18.30 – 19.30, Building 46 / LTA, Highfield Campus.
In this hour-long show, we take a look at the key ideas you need to survive an adventure in the outdoors. From staying warm with smart new textiles created by engineers to keep you dry, to removing microorganisms from water to make it safe to drink by using current technology also used in hospitals.
Attendance at the lecture is free, but please register your attendance in advance through our Eventbrite page.
