The University is running two events on Friday 28 November to help academics learn about the technology they can use when teaching.
Lunchtime presentation: Friday 28 November, 12.00 – 13.00; B67 / 1009, Highfield Campus
Hosted by Dr Fabio Aricò regarding the project to develop a teaching methodology to enhance Academic Self-Efficacy (ASE), defined as students’ confidence in their ability to accomplish specific academic tasks or attain specific academic goals. His approach makes intense use of Student Response Systems (SRS), such as ‘clickers’, to create an interactive environment where students reflect on their academic skills while they progress in their learning experience. You can book a place at this presentation through our Eventbrite page.
Afternoon workshop: Friday 28 November, 13.00 – 16.00; B32 / 3077, Highfield Campus
This workshop will not be subject-specific and it will be structured in presentations, practical demonstrations, and discussion sessions. The atmosphere will be informal, with many opportunities for networking. You can book a place at this workshop through our Eventbrite page.
