The University is looking for experienced academic and professional services staff at level 4 and above to train as mentors.
This workshop is designed for you to find out what mentoring is, what might be expected of you and to provide you with a solid foundation on which to build your skills as a mentor. We have two sessions running on Friday 28 November, 09.15 – 13.00 and 13.30 – 17.00.
The sessions will look at when and how you can use mentoring; it’s benefits to your mentee and yourself; how to get started and build positive relationships; the mentoring cycle; and all the key skills you’ll need to address any issues that can arise in mentoring relationships.
To book your place on one of these workshops, please contact Maxine Hart via email or via her extension 24555
