SUSU are currently running their housing campaign to help ensure students get the best possible housing whilst studying at Southampton. Below are some key messages for students to know.
The Students’ Union advises students to not be pressured into signing a housing contract this term, as there is no shortage of student housing in Southampton. SUSU’s campaign is focused on educating students about how to find a great property, which they do in January.
If you wait to look for a house until Monday 26 January you can:
- Find out the best/ worst-rated Letting Agencies
- Visit the SUSU Housing Fair
- Consider applying for halls with friends
- Figure out who you really want to live with
- Look at SASSH & SUSU Lettings properties
- The SUSU Advice centre can check your contract
Please check the SUSU website to see which agencies have supported the campaign this year. You can find more information about the SUSU housing campaign in a blog from the Vice President Welfare, Beckie Thomas.
