The National Student Survey (NSS) is run every year at all UK Universities and is an opportunity for students to give their opinions on how well the University teaches and supports them, as well as commenting on things that they think should be improved.
The results of the NSS are factored into many external university league tables and are also incorporated into the new Key Information Set information, which is designed to help prospective students decide where they want to study.
The survey itself is conducted independently by IPSOS/MORI, on behalf of the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and the National Health Service, and is fully supported by SUSU and the National Union of Students.
For the 2015 survey, students will invited to fill in the survey from Monday 9 February 2015.
Students will initially be emailed to inform them to fill in the survey. For students who do not fill in the survey, they will be reminded with further emails and eventually phone calls.
