Call for Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) applicants

Mark Spearing, the Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) is seeking to appoint two, part-time Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (International), from within the University community, to support with the delivery of the international strategy.

This follows the announcement last week that Mark Spearing has been appointed Interim Provost, following the split of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost role.

Ideally starting in February 2015, for a 3 year term on a fractional basis (up to 0.4 fte), the post holders will play a University-wide role in developing and enhancing Southampton as an “International University”. They will oversee key international partnerships and help develop new partnerships in line with the international strategy. In addition, these roles will liaise with Faculties and the International Office on international student recruitment; support activities on the internationalisation of the student experience; and develop international opportunities and international alumni engagement.

International travel, up to 4 trips a year, is a requirement of the role. You can download more information about the role here.
