Across January, students will be given an opportunity to complete surveys for their module taught within the first semester and shape how the University should develop its education.
For students in the faculties of Physical Sciences and Engineering, Engineering and the Environment, Social and Human Sciences, and Natural and Environmental Sciences, you will be able to complete your module surveys online from Monday 5 January 2015 – an email invite will be sent to you.
Students in other faculties should consult with their own faculty and student reps to find out how you can give feedback on your modules.
Why bother to complete module surveys?
Completing module feedback surveys will affect future modules that you take, as the University will be able to learn what course structures work best for students.
Your elected representatives will be able to use your feedback to campaign for better teaching practices across the University.
The module that you have taken this semester has developed over the years based on feedback from previous students, and now it’s your turn in that process to help keep our education improving.
Sophia D’Angelico, VP Education at SUSU said, “Please participate in these online module evaluations so that your feedback can be used to improve and enhance your academic experience and that of your peers. It is important that you take this opportunity to fill the surveys out honestly and constructively, avoiding any derogatory and/or discriminatory comments about individuals.”
