Power of Attorney: Parents & Carers meeting | 14 January

Suppose – through illness or accident – you could no longer manage your own finances or healthcare, could anyone else do this for you?  Officially and legally?

Hands ImageIf you already care for a relative or friend, or are likely to do so soon, what might happen when their condition deteriorates?

Find out more about setting up, registering and operating a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) in this lunchtime meeting with Deborah Clarke, of Allied Services Trust.

People who are abroad for extended periods can also register an LPA to allow a UK-based ‘attorney’ to handle their finances temporarily.

This session is organised through the voluntary Parents and Carers Network with support from Diversity.
