Over the Christmas break, staff from all areas of the University have been donating their kitchens to enable Southampton University Players (SUP) to present a fundraising production of Alan Ayckbourn’s award-winning comedy “Absurd Person Singular”, at the Nuffield Theatre from 20 – 24 January.
The perfect antidote to the post Christmas blues, Ayckbourn’s masterpiece of farce peeps behind the kitchen door at parties to observe the ‘ideal hosts’ as they really are, holding on for dear life, while fortunes change and relationships strain.
