Paul Tavner the Educational Resources Manager at Mendeley.com will give a presentation and demonstrations on using Mendeley. The session will include the following:-
- How to set up your online and desktop versions.
- How to use it to manage your existing literature and references.
- How to collect literature from a range of resources including bibliographic databases such as Web of Science, Google Scholar Library catalogues.
- How to use Mendeley to create in-text citations and a reference lists in a document.
- What to do if you need to edit a citation style if it does not quite meet your needs (e.g. editing Harvard Style).
- How to share references in your Mendeley Library with other researchers.
