The University has placed 50th in a list of the ‘most international universities in the world’ published by Times Higher Education (THE).
The list, which features only 100 universities, sees Southampton rise nine places overall on last year. The University ranks 27th amongst UK universities included.
The list is an extension of the THE’s World University Rankings and reflects the ‘international outlook’ indicator of those rankings. More specifically, the indicator considers each institution’s international student numbers, its percentage of international staff and the proportion of its research papers published with a co-author from at least one other country.
This links in with our aim to become a globally connected University.
You can find a full list of the rankings on the THE website.
