Staff and students are invited to this talk on Computational Modelling, 18:00 – 20:00, 9 February 2015, Building 58 / Room 1023, Highfield Campus.
Computational Modelling is an essential tool of cutting-edge science and engineering, both in academia and industry. From aerospace to astrophysics, medicine to material science, the predictive power of computing continues to grow rapidly, whilst its associated costs decrease. However, this talk will cover a different aspect: how modern computational modelling relies on collaborative work, and how the tools and best practices can improve all our scientific work.
Refreshments will be provided. To book a place, please visit our Eventbrite page.
