Andrew Wolstenholme OBE, CEO, Crossrail will be giving an Engineering@Southampton Distinguished Lecture at 18:00 on Tuesday 17 February in Lecture Theatre 1025, Building 176, Boldrewood Campus.
Andrew is a Southampton alumnus and in 2014, he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University. His talk will be entitled “Moving the Construction Industry Forward”.
Andrew will speak about the journey from being a Southampton engineering graduate to CEO of Europe’s largest construction project – Crossrail. As a client, a contractor and a consultant, he has worked on and led projects across Asia, the USA and UK – from a brewery in Hong Kong, the new Terminal 5 at Heathrow to the £15bn railway being constructed under central London today.
Andrew will share some of his lessons learned and experiences gained from leading teams in the Army and the construction industry.
Whilst tickets to the event are sold out, the lecture will be Livestreamed, which you can view here.
