Student Volunteering Week is an annual nationwide campaign that raises awareness of the value of social action, inspires more students to get involved, and celebrates the positive impact that you can make in your local community.
In Southampton, SUSU, Southampton Hub, Southampton Voluntary Services, and Careers Destinations have come together to bring Student Volunteering Week onto campus and into the local community.
Throughout the week, we will highlight all the opportunities that you have to make a difference: from one off volunteering opportunities off campus, to 10 minute micro-volunteering opportunities on campus, to longer term voluntary project work. On Friday 27 February, the Students’ Union be hosting a drinks reception to celebrate the work of our volunteers through the week.
