Sustainability Action Awards: last week for nominations

winners

There’s just one week left to nominate yourself, a colleague or a team for the University’s annual Sustainability Action Awards

The awards were launched in 2014 to celebrate to enormous range of sustainability activities being undertaken by our students and staff – both on campus and outside of the University.

At the University we define sustainability in the broadest possible sense – it’s not just about the environment – and last year’s winners included a social enterprise project in Cameroon, a Scout expedition leader and a lecturer trying to innovatively embed carbon reduction into the curriculum.

You can find out more here.

All nominees are invited to attend a ceremony with food and drinks in the Nuffield Café. The winners will receive an award, which will be displayed in the Hartley Library for the year.

Applying is easy – just fill in this form with a maximum of 500 words and submit it by 12pm on Friday 27th February.
